last week the kind gals over at tj maxx & marshalls invited me to their summer preview! being a fan of their "never, ever pay full price" motto - i was thrilled to stop by to check out what's new this summer. i picked out this fun summer shift as i am all about color these days.  i was looking through my instagrams the other day and wow - i do like things bright! and i gotta say, if you are looking to do color on a budget, tj maxx is the place to go.

this weekend was the 7th annual jazz age lawn party at governors island & what a grand time we had!

wes anderson's new film, moonrise kingdom, looks just divine! one cannot help but get lost in the style of his films. while i have yet to see the movie (i'm going this week!!!), i already have a style cuddle crush on the movie still i've seen. channel your inner little girl with some style cuddle picks!

style cuddle with... queen elizabeth II

it may have been the queen's diamond jubilee, but this lady sure does love her pearls. when i think of queen elizabeth II's signature look, i think of her in a dreamy cloud of pastels (with matching hat, of course) and accessorizing with pearl studs, necklaces and a brooch. here is a bit of style cuddle take on the look, cause there is no reason why you can't feel like a queen for a day. prince harry not included.

it's the queen's jubilee tomorrow! it's brit mania in london at the mo, and i must admit even living in new york i've still gotten caught up in it. i'm especially keen on liberty's jubilee collection - these two scarves are just gorg!
