five more for fall

a few weeks ago i posted my five for fall and i can't help but keeping adding to the list. last night as i was getting to ready to go out i realised it's that awkward time of year to dress up. it's still too mild for a winter coat but a sweater is still a little chilly. i'm a huge fan of mixing fabulous with casual and came up this outfit idea: why not mix some glitter and sequins with a camo jacket? i scored my army jacket at a tiny surplus shop in north london a few years ago, but am loving the versions on the high street. and i love big scarves - this free people american flag scarf is on repeat.

perfect fall sweaters

it's officially sweater weather. last night i was absolutely freezing walking home. one of these sweaters will do suit fine - the only question is which one...

i was messing around yesterday with my old point & shoot camera with the self timer. i know it's not the best camera for blogging, but i thought i'd still play around with it, blurry fuzzy shots and all. i did a few of the typical blogger poses and i have to admit i kinda, actually, really cringed at what came out. i though a couple of the outtakes were far more fun.  who knew that what ended up on the cutting room floor actually made the cut?

outfit details: allihop for anthropologie striped dress - i love the button details! the cream color also pulled my love for all things striped heart strings, but i thought the black & white would be more useful for the east coast autumn.

my jane birkin haircut

my five for fall

it's hard to believe september is here! i don't know about you, but the summer just flew by for me. am putting my thinking cap on - this gorgeous topshop roller hat - to come up with some of my top five favorite accessories for fall.  and i know it's back to the office for some, but this kate spade laptop case serves as the perfect reminder & partner for getting out once and a while to do some creative brainstorming away from the desk!
