being an expat and working for an english company, i feel like i've been having a not-so-secret love affair with everything british themed lately. i mean, the country has a crest that's got a lion and a unicorn. and omg when i saw this jonathan adler pillow and rug, i just about cuddled and went to heaven. how hilarious is the faux zebra shape? and well, i just love marianne faithfull's hair - what a british babe!

this weekend i popped into the brooklyn flea on the hunt for some additions to my new flat. while i walked away empty handed, i did however fall in love with these chain necklaces from a fort greene based jeweler eponymously called fort. don't they remind you of long lost treasure, driftwood and the beach?

life

i am in the midst of moving while also getting ready for nyfw plus working extra hard... so it's been more hectic than usual. i also decided to spend half an hour before work this morning to set this matt lauer tumblr page up (when i probably should have been packed a box instead). but sometimes you have to take a deep breath and say 'it's ok!' and then look at this cause having a little giggle is also a pretty nice kind of cuddle.
