black to basics, part 1

sorry for my absence of blogging as of late. it's been a hectic two weeks, that's for sure. in between hurricane sandy, friends visiting from london, and freelancing - it's been busy (and that feels like an understatement!).  it's time to literally - and fashionably -  go back to some of the basics for a while - and what better way then with the color black.  First in this little style cuddle mini series "black to basics" is inspired by this classic LBD from oasis! it's that time of year when there are plenty of after work drinks, events, and client dinners that the LBD is a necessity to take you from the office to a party. one of my tricks to easily go from day to night is to stash a zip clutch in my purse loaded with fun, sparkly accessories. it makes for an easy transition at work.  and here my style cuddle picks, and it's really as simple as 1,2,3,4!
